I would love to help promote a local small business for a minute. Our AC broke a few weeks back, and since it’s almost summer, it was an imperative we had someone out asap. We had a company come out and do an assessment and they charged us a ridiculous service fee to assess it’s current operating capacity. They said if we went with them it would come off our bill. Well, when the quote got here (which took 2 days, and I had to notify multiple times to get it) it was 5800 for just the AC. I thought that price was a bit suspect so I blanketed HomeAdvisor for new help. The first one who contacted me was Armor Air . They came out and Shawn was one of the most pleasant and interesting Tech/Sales guys I ever had the pleasure of meeting. He quoted me while he was here, and it was about the same price (more of course, but not by much) for both a new AC and to replace our furnace which was wicked old.

We tried to get financing through their company and was denied… and I sent him away with a promise of contacting him when we got our own financing squared away. He called me a few hours later with a deal on how we could get this done for the AC after talking with the owner. Companies just don’t do that sort of thing… It was actually shocking.

We cancelled all the other appointments because of Shawn and our interaction with him. We got our own financing squared away and had them do the work.

Not only was Shawn awesome, but Tim and Joe, the service techs who came out were awesome as well… both kind, informative individuals… also got a good tip on a good place for breakfast… thanks for that one fellas. When they had the blower opened, it was clear we needed a duct cleaning as well, which I asked them if we could do that as well… they couldn’t’ that day but they had Matt come out a couple days later and, to my surprise, he was also awesome. It seems from top to bottom amazing people can be hired for a company outside of my company, Salesforce. I thought we were the only one, but If you have some HVAC problems… I STRONGLY recommend this local small business.

I wanted to thank you so much for your quick service and outstanding professionalism! I was unsure of the service possibly needed for my air conditioning unit. I needed a check up on my AC unit. Jamie was extremely helpful when I called to schedule the appointment. When I explained that I was having health issues that required my AC work well, Armor Air was able to come right away. Christian came and was very knowledgeable, professional, and he followed all appropriate Covid protections. He worked quickly, and explained the work/service he was doing. Christian also explained what I can do to care for my unit. At a time when many companies are just interested in “getting back on track”, this company provided a great service for a great price, and gave pointers to help prevent future costs on my end. Stephen came out to give us a quote for a Water Softener and RO Water System Install and hung out for the rest of the afternoon to do the work. We were very satisfied with the quote and extremely happy to be able to get it done same day so efficiently, also my husband asked him about another small plumbing issue and he fixed that too… we absolutely could not have been happier. Last weekend our A/C went out and Shawn Selby came out to ensure that we would have a new Daikin with great warranty installed. Since my wife works from home she was back to being comfortable in no time. Great job and thanks to the Armor Air team for the fast and friendly service.
